Abstract:
Abstract:The embodied metaphor theory combines the embodied cognition theory and the conceptual metaphor theory. It is proposed that individual's metaphorical connection of concrete concepts and abstract concepts or advanced psychological processes related to physical experience is a unique way of human cognition.Whether it is a literal semantics or a metaphorical semantics or a verb-containing sentence as a stimulus material, the semantics process not only activates the brain's central and motor cortex, but also activates with different neural circuits through the implementation of semantic corresponding action, the familiarity of the concept and the consistency of the text background. In this paper,we will summarize and analyze the above fields' researches, aiming at providing a preliminary idea of the neural mechanism model of action effect of sematic processing by the metaphorical perspective.
