Abstract:
The present study is to investigate the influence on the attention bias of college students with different levels of implicit aggression by social synchrony. In our study,45 college students with different levels of implicit aggression were randomly divided into 3 groups. In experiment 2,a 2×3 design was designed, attentional bias scores on two eye movement indicators(first-pass fixation time and number of fixations)were the dependent variable. The results favored the idea that high aggression individuals made more prior hostile interpretations on encoding hostile cues than on the non-hostile cues and indicated that social synchrony could decrease the implicit aggression tendency of individuals with high implicit aggression, and do not show any negative influence on the individuals with low implicit aggression.
